There are two CRTs in this house. The only LCD one is actually the super-huge computer monitor, and it has no speakers so it is of no use at the moment.
That's funny. I have an old CRT/VCR combo that I sometimes use for NES/N64 action in the basement. The main TV is a LCD and so is my computer monitor.
I like CRTs better for gaming because there is no lag to calibrate. When I am up at school everyone has LCDs, and each one of them requires lag calibration, so bouncing between two or three TVs is a pain in the ***. It's the same reason I play Guitar Hero much better at home.
I've never noticed my screen lagging at all.
Nah, my monitor and eyes both have super powers.
Cakesypoo is correct. That is the game I have to calibrate most often, usually between 34 and 40 milliseconds of change one way or the other. It doesn't sound like a lot, but when you are shredding it is very noticeable.
I am always correct
Stop shredding your monitor, that's your problem.
No, I'm shredding whilst I watch on my monitor. Big difference.
Now that you mention it, I haven't played Gitfiddle Hero since I left school... I might need to remedy that this afternoon.
