Wizard Blizzard skill animation look's terrible

Hey,

I just saw the new video for the wizard skill "Blizzard", and like all the comment's on that page and the comments around the web lately say, IT LOOKS TERRIBLE !!! like, seriously? this is blizzard !? it need's to look and feel awesome and it's really isn't, it look's like a cartoony water drops, it look's bad, lame, terrible.

Don't worry, it's a mistake, they posted the wrong video. That video is actually for the new unrevealed skill "Slushy Water Blobs".

IŽll probably mostly be playing barb, DH and WD. Wizard and monk look boring as hell.

I noted that when the vid was posted. At least we know it slows, but man does it look bad.

I thought the same thing. You think it would be like the ray of frost animation with the first rune attribute, but over a cast area space with shards of ice coming down from the screen. Hopefully, additional runes will alter the animation?

As I noted elsewhere, IMO, all of the returning Wizard skills looked and sounded better in D2 (with the possible exception of Frost Nova). This coming from someone who generally likes the art direction quite a bit. Pretty disappointing for me as the Mage class is usually my favorite.

Yeah it's terrible. All the awesome potential that skill has that's what they end up with. Hope it's a placeholder graphic
