I just started median in an attempt to pass time for d3. I made a spear amazon, and so far I cruised through A1 on players8 with only a couple minor problems. I do have a question though. I'm having a hard time with runewords. The website says that you add jewels before the rune to make the runeword. For example shark runeword says weapon 0-5 jewels and tal rune. I added a jewel and a tal rune to a two socket brandistock, and nothing. Am I missing something?
It needs to be a grey item. Like in the original D2, magic, rare, unique etc etc items do not count and will not work. However, it is possible there are some misstakes on the site. I noticed the game isnt flawless with certain items, so if you're certain it was a grey item and it didnt work, you might want to report it.
On another note, the order is also important. The rune always goes into the socket last.
I've read that bloodzon is best starter choice due to the bloodstorm skill. and it is quite easy I must say
she's lvl 108 atm, and she just killed NM diablo lol. from what I've heard 120 is lvl cap, and that should come quite fast from what I've seen so far.
Just don't forget to do your lvl quests (Tran Athulua in time, and then K3KBA also before 80 iirc). That should give you sufficient ammount of skills, resists and everything else. Also, I got loads of high runes (up to On twice), and a Zod drop ^_^
/p8 for all game, and /p1 for bosses works like a charm.
I quite like it, but the only thing that bothers me is the ammount of stuff on screen, it can be a bit confusing/laggy.
as for the community, the "if you have quick question" thread worked just fine for me, I got all the answers within a hour or so.
My favourite build by far is the Bow Druid. I didn't manage to get past act2 nm with him though. Think I was underleveled, since that was right after the rebalancing patch.
The bow druid is awesome because of spore shot. You can also get some ctc arrow items, so you can get upto 35% pretty easily. Even more if you've got uber gear. I've never seen so many arrows on the screen before.
Oh yeah, but I don't like it as much. It's just a shower of axes in a 5-6 yard area. Nice, but not as nice as having your arrows fly literary everywhere on the screen, and often offscreen too. And with that ctc arrow gear I mentioned, for very third hit you launch an arrow, so if you're in a narrow passage with many enemies, you will have a torrent of arrows coming out of you. On top of all the other arrows. Man I want to play it now...
