Ebugging - ral thul ptopaz + non sup eth armor
1/6 chance for 1 socket
1/6 chance for 2 socket
1/6 chance for 3 socket
3/6 chance for 4 socket
In 3 attempts i've had 1, 2, and 3 Sockets.. I want 4 socket.. so mad :P
I think 1 socket items should simply be removed from the game, they're nothing but a nuisance.![]()
I had about 15 armors in my stash the other and I wanted a 3os to put treachery in. they all failed and I think about half were 1os, stupid game...
Eth 4os armors are worth more than 3socket ones, at least on Bnet. Everyone wants Fortitude on their Merc since they don't know how good Treachery is compared to it. I'm still not 100% convinced myself, but Treach does make him immortal in Travincal (except against Fanatic mobs).
Well, on non-ladder, a fortitude has to have 30@res and 1.5 life per level to be worth more than an ebug treachery. If it only has 30@res or 1.5 life per level (but not both), the treachery is actually worth more.
The more educated the players are in a particular part of the d2 economy, the more the 3os ebug armor is likely to be worth. I'd have no problem spending a Lo to a Ber for one (at this stage on ladder) if I was in need of it and didn't already make it myself.
That doesn't make much sense imo since Treachery can be made on Non-Ladder as well. Are people on Non-Ladder more aware of Treachery's utility compared to Fort? That would explain it I guess. But the performance must still be close, and it's much harder to make a perfect Fort than a perferct Treachery, since all Treacherys are perfect.Maybe there's something I don't understand about the Non-Ladder economy.
That's what I'm saying - the cost of the treachery is mostly due to the 3os ebug armor. Price of ebug fortitude is not as high anymore on non-ladder because it is swarmed with them. It goes back to our discussion about hr values and runeword values - it all moves to the low purchasing power side.
And on ladder, the treachery is still worth any random fort. Near end of season, the prices mirror closely to non-ladder prices.
