Cool small things you've found in Beta that others haven't der=0><

I found a tome pedestal with an exclamation mark over it on the map, and an NPC standing by it trying to read it, in one of the Cathdral levels. The NPC warns you to stay away, but if you activate the pedestal, he turns into a unique monster. Have not seen him in previous beta versions, and only encountered him twice in this one.

I just found a little box object on the ground next to the blacksmith in town, containing a letter from the blacksmith's wife to him. Maybe I was just unobservant and have not seen it before, or maybe you only see it if you've completed his quest in the same game.

He's Lloigor the Crazed. I wonder what tome he studies. It's one of the things that was obviously cut from the beta.

That NPC is actually very very old. He has been in the game since the FnF build but he used to only spawn in the very first room of cathedral lvl4 past the little room with metal bars by the bookcase with tables along the walls.

Pretty old as well. It was introduced on the same patch where they removed the cauldron of jordan.

I know Bashiok has announced that he'll be a named mob later on in the game, but the other day I ran across an elite in the Weeping Hollow named Zarhym the Merciless or something to that effect (Zarhym is another blue poster or CM, not sure which exactly).

I found an Elite Ghastly Gravedigger last night in the Cemetery of the Forsaken. I can't remember his name and his flavor text, but he seemed to have the Plagued modifier. He did poison damage in his vicinity and with his attacks just like Molten Elites do for example (different damage type of course) and when he died he left a puddle of acid behind. Just like other special Elites in the beta (Dataminer for example) he didn't have any minions. Did anyone else encounter this guy?

There is a kind of altar / stoneplate wall in the game with the names of (I assume) D3 developers engraved on it. I have seen it in a thread somewhere in this forum.

I don't remember his name but it was a elite risen that crawled up near the waypoint of tristram cathedral.
Maybe he is quite common.

I found the black mushroom in one of the cathedral levels, it definitely wasnt "outside"
