For some reason I'm getting an image of that V for vendetta guy with the mask here.
Your post was only deleted, you were not banned or anything right? The posts in the EU official beta forum are treated worse, they just get ignored. If they got deleted, I would know that at least someone read it.
It was hard for me to see where your intelligent arguments were in this posting. I was busy thinking about Spartacus, loin clothes and man parts. It is one thing to present an argument, state some facts and then your opinion on it; but your post was filled with insults generalizations, and more insults. Although your words may work well in a movie where the rebels are giving a motivating speech right before a big battle, they don't work well when stating an argument or your position on a topic.
I like your post, but it was doomed to be deleted before you even posted it.
What you're saying is that people should think for themselves and you are encouraging them to do so. That's dangerous, because it can bring change.
It's how revolutions get started.
I dont think Blizzard minds criticism as long as the opinion expressed remains wholly objective. There are plenty of posts and threads on the D3 forums voicing criticism of game systems or the game as a whole and not all of those posters are being banned. However, if your criticism includes impassioned rants and anecdotes that have little to do with the elements of the game being criticized, then yes, you will be banned or have your post downgraded.
Hi Hellglory.
I don't want to be too critical, here, but I expect the reason your post was deleted is because it's like 90% inflammatory filler. Your point, as I understand it, is that you don't like the removal of stat and skill point allocation on level up. Instead of just saying that, you worked it into four paragraphs of personal attacks, rage, name calling, and asides about Borderlands and Spartacus.
So, next time, try staying calmer and on topic. Debate the pros and cons of game mechanics rather than flipping out and slinging insults at Jay Wilson and his fellow designers. People will take you more seriously if you write the way you did in your replies here, rather than the way you did in your original post on the official forums.
No you didn't. Your post was inflammatory, filled with spelling, logical, and grammatical errors; it was wordy, and lacked any kind of comprehensible organization.
That, and you don't know what "objective" means, in the sense of an adjective as opposed to a noun.
There is no nation-wide test for reading and writing skills that would place you anywhere near the top. In any nation.
