Also, I don't think anyone mentioned that if you only have access to normal difficulty, you can still reroll the map by going to multiplayer - tcp/ip - host game.
That map will stay if you want it to, by playing in single player again the game after.

If the Durance level 2 map in NM sucks with waypoint too far away from the stairs to Level 3, how do I reset that Durance 2 map to try and get the waypoint closer to the stairs to level 3?

On the main menu go to multiplayer - tcp/ip - host game. Then you will have a new map. Repeat as many times as you like, and then whhen you have the map you like, go back to single player and it will keep the one you had last in tcpip.

Or you can take the easy way, and just change difficulties. The wait in tcp/ip is boring.

I said that because as far as I know he hasn't beaten baal, yet. I actually mentioned it earlier but I don't think he noticed.

Speaking of Baal, I just descended to Worldstone Keep Level 3, and I must say I like the style of the dungeon, with pillars, carvings, etc. It gives a sense of grand-ness. I should be able to fight Baal within the next hour or so.

GL. Just watch out for his decripfy curse he casts while he spawns his minnions.

^Yes, if you stand back somewhere past the first set of pillars, he won't be able to cast it on you. Really unfortunate for melee classes who can't do much about it but try to lead out the waves.

I killed all his minion waves and then fought the Big Bad himself in the Worldstone Chamber. All I can say is thank god for static field. It owned him. My merc died, as expected. I got an unique two-handed sword off him to boot.

I had a really tough time with the boss minion of the 5th wave. For some reason he regens health, something that any boss level monster isn't supposed to do. I have never seen a yellow text monster regen health until that one, and that guy was a bastard to kill because he had a ton of health, even on /players1 (default).

Now having killed the Big Bad, I'm starting out on Nightmare. It feels weird to be all the way back in the Rogue camp with my buffed character. My character is level 52, by the way. Maxed blizzard, level 16 fireball, level 7 ice blast, level 1 cold mastery, and level 1 for the other prereq's for Blizzard and Meteor, including Meteor itself.
