    Gem Calculator

This is an interesting tool I made at my website, it's a gem calculator that shows you how many gems it will take to create other types of gems. It also calculates the value of gems to reflect the combination cost (50g per combine). This adds up really quick and will blow your mind. 40 million gold to combine chipped gems into a single radiant star. talking about a gold sink eh?

Wow, that is a ton of gold, I hadn't realized it would be that much :P

I think that deserves a mention on the market forums.

Oh wow, so useful read. I'm pretty shocked about those numbers :P.

    Also I agree with Bowzer.

Well... obviously they don't want you combining L1 gems all the way up to Radiant Star. I'm sure if you start combing the L5 gem drops to Radiant Star you're going to cut the bulk of your combination costs.

I'm pretty sure that's Markco's website. Or at least affiliated with him.

    Re: Gem Calculator

I have found a very nice online gem calculator. It seems to calculate also the materials needed, profit, gold/hour obtained by combining gems, time spent with crafting and so on. Is pretty cool.
Check this Diablo 3 Gem Calculator Tool.
