Hey Pijus, good to see some non-natives do a voiceover - it's what keeps me from recording. And I lol'd a lot about the merc weapon - why not at least cube a Savage Partizan or something like that?

EDIT: btw, do you record the video and the voiceover simultaneously or do you record the video first, then the voice over and stitch them together? In case of the latter - what tool do you use to stitch them together?

I haven't played that character for ages. Years. I've no idea how he got that way. Maybe I stripped his gear to give to another char? Maybe I was in an MP group and people where in a hurry? I just don't know.

With regards to speaking, in my mind I sound american, but when I open my mouth, the sounds come out abit weird. There's this guy that does minecraft called docm77. He's german. You should check him out just to get an idea of what you might sound like. He's quite popular...

I record video and sound at the same time. Video with Fraps, sound with Audacity. I then export the sound from the video, import it into Audacity and try to sync the tracks as best as I can. Also adjust the volume of the game sounds because they tend to be very loud. I then export the full track and import it into the video again.

Making videos is abit of a messy afair. It's harder than I thought at first. Now with that said, and I'm only saying this once, you should totally send all of my videos to all your friends and acquaintaces, because I want to have 15000 subscribers ASAP

@MYK below: Thanks. I wasn't trying to create anything of value, but there you go. Always nice to make people spend their hard earned runes on silly things. This just gave me an idea. I'm sure I have a Prinicple Scarab Husk somewhere

Thanks for the bowazon video, Pijus. I had no idea Silence was absolutely insane as far as the Hit Blinds Target just disabling everything and the other stats are also quite strong. It's now on my runeword 'wish list'.

Looking through my character screen I found this necromancer. His gear is horrible, his mercs gear is horrible, his skillset is non-cookie cutter. But he still kills pretty well in players1 hell.

Another fun vid. I just have 1 'complaint' about it. He doesn't wear mara's kalei...amulet! I think every vid you make should have a character wearing it!

Also i got a genuine question about the pronounciation of the mercenary. PJ calls him 'murk' in his vids, while i was under the assumption it should be pronounced 'murs', when using the short version. Maybe a native English speaker can shed some light on that?

Lol, I was wondering the same There are also some weapon types that require some research if I ever want to mention them in a LP video (Bardiche, Chu-Ko-Nu, 90% of the Assassin Katars (Quhab? WTF?), Crainte Vomir etc.). Gieb answers now!

I always pronounce it merk, for whatever reason, and english is the only language I know well. But I always say sork as well, which may be just as inconsistent between people.

I say sorc and merc. I specifically remember Kyle Katarn saying 'merks' when refering to what I think are merceneries in Jedi Knight 3.

Did I really say mara's amulet? The golemancer was wearing eye of etlitch, wasn't he? Oh dear.
