Are people still playing this game?

Last time I checked, nearly no one were online.

I still miss this game, I remember how i continued playing D1, even for a long time after D2 was released.

Does anyone still play on Battle.net? I might go find my CD collecting dust somewhere, in that case.

Sometimes, perhaps two or three times a year, I reinstall the game, get my back up saves and play for a while.

Diablo 1 is pretty much dead, especially since there are no "specific channels" (everyone tends to stay in the defaults, like DEU-1 in my case), so there is zero cohesion between the players. I'm assuming most people who still play, do it the same way I do, once in a while, out of nostalgia.
