I couldn't quickly think of a better way to phrase that.A few testers found out the radius you have in order to gain experience from a group kill. The result? Freaking tiny.

So I guess this pays credence to "you SHOULD follow your group." It just wouldn't pay off any other way.
This just makes me happy I have made friends on this website who won't run off in every direction like they do in public games.
Inferno will likely require a tight V formation anyway.
But yeah, that's freaking tiny.
Bashiok JUST tweeted about this (it's Bashiok happy hour and he's tweeting back with all his might in an hour).
He said the following:
You need to be within range (screen and a half or so) to be counted for drops or experience.
I was *just* about to say the same thing!

New to Diablo 3? Read this great primer.
I always got something dropped while i were at the defiled crypt and the whole other party (3 people) killed Jondar. I just got to the way point after finishing defiled crypt and picked up the loot.
Means drops are not affected or only at quest mobs? Can anyone confirm this?
