Re: How many quests do you complete on your PvM characters?

The one trapped behind Duriel is the same one that is in the Pandemonium Fortress. That's where he goes when you free him.

When Izual dies the angel you see there is Izual, released from being trapped in that demon body.

The guy in river of flame is just some random angel, there's no explanation about him at all in game.

I don't know if the quests that gives attribution points and+20 life is worth the time and effort.

When you're high level with good gear, and you're throwing away 19 life charms to replace them with 20 life charms, it sure as heck is worth it to go back and get free life and stats.

    So level 1-85

    Complete all skills quests.

    From level 90+

Complete additional quests with life and stats.

    Something like that?

Im gonna go with my own advise above. Skill quests are the most important. Stat/life quests comes in as second.

The life/stat points quest can literally be done in less than 5 minutes once you have the respective waypoints (you don't even need waypoint for the life quest). I see no reason, whatsoever, not to do them. I also do the gidbinn quest for the rare ring Ormus gives you. Mainly because I once got a real great one from there and almost always come across it doing A3 anyways (single player).

Re: How many quests do you complete on your PvM characters?

Let's not forget the resistance scroll quests, they are important as well. I'm gonna look through all the quests in all the acts to see which one are the most important..

    Act 1.

    http://www.d2tomb.com/act_i_quests.shtml

    1. Den of evil.

    Gives a skillpoint.

    Act 2.

    http://www.d2tomb.com/act_ii_quests.shtml

    1. Radamant's Lair
    Gives a skill point.

    Act 3.

    http://www.d2tomb.com/act_iii_quests.shtml

    1. The golden bird

Gives a potion that adds +20 life.

    2. Lam esen's tome.

    Gives +5 attribution points.

    Act 4.

    http://www.d2tomb.com/act_iv_quests.shtml

    1. The fallen angel

    Gives +2 skill points.

    Act 5.

    http://www.d2tomb.com/act_v_quests.shtml

    1. Prison of Ice

Gives a scroll that adds +10 resist all.

These are the only quests that boost your character in terms of hit points, attribution points, skill points and resistances.

Of course some of the other quests are necessary to proceed, however these quests are the only quests that boosts your characters stats. So, if you do all these quests above in norm,nm and hell, you get a total of +60 hp, +15 attribution points, +30 resist all, and +12 skill points. That's awesome.

I just did the one with attribution points, not at all hard, but it sucks that you have to look through all dungeons in kurast causeway/upper kurast/kurast bazaar. But sure, +15 vitality makes a difference considering that the life can be BO'ed.

Every single one, OCD makes me

I haven't actually used the Imbue / Personalize quest rewards at for my current characters (4 - Three in Hell, one in NM) but I believe that you can go back through the difficulties and use them later?
