IIRC, you mentioned possibly following the crafting mats on your site. I hope you do! I think it will be quite an interesting setup to follow.
Something I'm currently working on is a way to track all of one's own AH transactions to get a clear picture of how things sell and relate that to a statistical analysis of item attributes so as to potentially offer suggestions on good starting bid prices on items.
It basically doesn't make any sense to buy SE on the AH right now. $1.00 gets you 1,000 gold which can buy 4-5 blue item from vendor which makes 4-5 SE plus chance for FT. So, nobody should logically buy SE on the beta AH.
This, and axes with 25 stat axes and 2-3 dmg ring go quick, lots of really simple blues actually sell for whatever reason.
Actually I usually just spam all my blues for $1.00 bid and no buyout and let them roll for the full duration. So far I'd say about 80% of the stuff sells $1.00 to $3.00 and then the good stuff gets bid up to $10.00 - $30.00.
And yeah, mats don't sell because of the cost of gold per 1,000 yields 5.56 SE .28 FT and 0.06 PB if you search vendors for the 180g blues.
Any mf % over 8 with a high stat class attribute goes for about 15 - 20 I've found.
I've sold a few mf/gf gear for around $30, but I agree with your assessment mf/stat sells well too
I really haven't played the AH at all. I've mostly just followed along the forums for others's analyses. In the beta are these blue items you're selling crafted, items you've found, or both?
Both. The ones that I find tend to sell for cheaper than the better crafted gear, but I think that's simply a side-effect of Blizzard shifting more of the loot drops to higher levels and so right now, crafted gear just flat out tends to be better.
--edit: I've even sold a few vendor blue / raresNot a lot of them and I didn't track which ones they were so I don't remember how well they sold, but my guess would be in the low range I posted above, given that the gear there usually tends to be kinda blah.
--edit2: also, weapons that have no level restriction on them sell very nicely! I sold a 15.0 dps blue spear with fire damage and no level req for like $15.00
Do any one know where to it stop increasing....

I don't think we can really read anything into this for the actual release. Would have to agree with Azzure though, the graphs are going to be interesting to review for a few months after release...
