I'll send her another message explaining things from my end, and see what she has to say. If we can't get a subforum, then at least we could hopefully get a sticky thread in general discussion once we have things more concretely formed.

Oh yeah, did we discuss that yet? Lol. I'm on USWest. That is primarily where I will be playing. I will definitely make some character on a different server depending on what we decide.

There is no west/east anymore just north America.

I don't think that's a good idea. I know she is against any form of organized Clan within IncGamers. I'm trying to keep it as Organized as possible without it actually being Organized. She just doesn't want the drama and politics that is associated with Clans/Guilds to be inside IncGamers. In the past, that is how it has always turned out and it has always come back to bite her in the pants. She has put a lot of effort in the past into making this happen and 100% of the time it has failed, so she is basically done with it. I don't want to put her into a position she doesn't want to be in. You can talk to her if you like, get some Back story on the subject. Maybe just tell her to Copy/Paste her post to me so she doesn't have to type it all out again, lol. I'd just rather not bother her about it anymore. She works way too hard to keep IncGamers what it is and I'd rather not pester her with this. As long as we have each others Real ID's and a place to post, I think we will be fine....for now

I totally agree with Siege. Maybe just a sticky in the PAL forum to start, then see how it goes from there.

The only problem with that is there are some really cool people who want in that aren't Pals.

And @Siege, that is precisely what this is, it's a way to keep somewhat organized without actually having a real clan structure. Keeping a list of peoples battletags would be a total pain in the balls otherwise.

I totally understand her point of view, as I have run large clans in various games in the past. Keeping ego's in check when there is leading to be done is always a difficult task. All kinds of problems arise around power grabs, differences of opinion and it is just human nature.

Yeah its a tough call because if we keep it in Pals, it's limited to Pals. If we sticky a post in General, it might as well be a Sub Forum. Bahhhh.

And yeah that is basically what I told Elly. It's an Unorganized Clan with Structure, lol.

We still have a solid 45 days before we need to move this thread into general anyways, so we still have lots of time to discuss names and whatnot.

Collect a few more signatures and such.

Definitely. Who all is going to play HC? I for one and going to jump into the Ladder Race as soon as they bring it in. If this release is anything like D2, they waited a month or two before putting in the Ladder Race. Plus, with PvP not being included in release it might be even longer. Which is good because it will give us a chance to know the game.

Just a thought it doesn't have to be a true guild or clan but just a sticky with a list of incgamers that are interested in playing with each other. This way there is not as much of a commitment but basically accomplishes they same thing especially since there is no real guild support in d3. See about getting a sticky in the General forums then people can just post hey I am available and find others sort of like a gamefinder thread.
