count me in for a donation to host vent for a couple of months.

I reckon we should get a 100 person for the first 2 months just in case it is hugely popular, and see how we go from there.

Also start a week before launch?

Also because im in Aus i'd be more than happy to volunteer my services as an admin/moderator for the vent/mumble server to police it during Aus hours (early morning NA). I've been captain of 3 clans over the years (battlefield) so i do have experience in this, but obviously it would require you're approval as i'm not THAT well known round here.

Don't sell yourself short, Autti. I just got back from a 5-month medical leave (long story), but I remember you from last year. You don't talk much (as your post count indicates), but I'm pretty sure I recall you always having something constructive to say on the threads you did comment on. My point is: I know who you are, and personally, I would have no problem with you being a mod.

P.S. I'm actually not sure how much influence I have around here; I am an Ink Slinger, does that give me street cred?

I'm gonna go ahead and get us a 50 man mumble server to start.

Is everyone cool with that? If we need to up it to a 100 man come launch we can look at that when the time comes.

I estimated a 12 month cost based on a 100 man server at $19.00 a month.

So we have a choice of where we want the server to be.

All are based in the US, but we can get a central location, an east coast location for the euros or a west coast location for the Aussies.

You should be able to get a deal if your going to pay the 12 months upfront.

I went ahead and got us a 50 man at eoreality.net

I managed to get a 15% recurring discount when I talked to the customer support guy and told them who we are. So the first month of a 50 man is only 8 bucks.
