oh, dude, i can only imagine. I was never stable enough to do psychedelic drugs, but I have had bad experiences with weed before. Twice. Once, I was just in a bad mood and nauseous, the last and most recent incident made me quit altogether. That was a horrendous experience and do not wish to go thru that again.
I only drank once before I was of age that I can think of, and that was sanctioned by my mom. I really was a good boy!
I recall going to Germany on a school trip when I was about 13 and the family there automatically gave me wine with dinner. Which I was quite pleased about when I found out the meat in the food was rabbit.
That's pretty crazy. I'm sure it happens around here too, it's just a lot less politically correct.
21 is too old an age for drinking laws.
In Canada it's 19 and 18 in certain provinces.
Most kids try alcohol for the first time early on in high school anyways.
You're right, most do. I don't necessarily agree that 21 is the best age to allow people to drink, but it's the law still.
The law is 18 in Australia, I personally started at around 16 and used to binge pretty heavily (minimum 1/2 to 3/4 a bottle of vodka each time I would drink)
What we need in society isn't people telling us to abstain, but telling us how to drink properly.
If someone told me, "hey I know you are going to drink, make sure you don't drink more than this", the first time I drank captain morgans, I probably wouldn't have punched my best friend in the face and thrown his dishes into the street.
You are absolutely right. If you look back when they tried to enforce prohibition you will see that it only made things way worse.
