This wouldn't be prohibition, it would be harm reduction, which does work.
I wasn't saying you were suggesting prohibition, I was saying it doesn't work, but temperance is a better idea
I can agree. I would not have chugged mine so fast and threw up on the side of my ex's car... while driving down the freeway...

I thought the whole reason it got changed was back in the 80s (1986?) to lower the mortality rate in young people because they were drinking and driving. It was 18 in America for a little while before it got changed. I know that much.
It's actually still 18 or 19 in a few states I believe, it's a state level law. That may have been why they changed it, not sure. People are just stupid with alcohol, I don't think that the age has that much to do with it.
It's true though, alcohol is way worse than 90% of the illegal drugs out there, and it's legal.
I think they should legalize weed, and psychedelics.
They did legalize weed actually![]()
It's decriminalized here in BC, meaning they won't bust your balls for having a couple joints.
If you have 30 pounds in a van and are selling it to kids however..
Well, of course that's not legal here either. Pretty much anything that has van and kids in the same sentence is usually illegal.
They are trying to re-criminalize it here, people aren't happy with the way it's been going over the last couple years.
