War Spike reaches the last breakpoint with 50 more IAS on your gear, going with anything slower isn't a great idea unless you use a Faith merc:

I'm looking for a weapon recommendation to get me through NM and until I can equip my BotD.

I have runes to make Crescent Moon, Lawbringer, or Oath -- can anyone give me some guidance as to how I should proceed until I can use BotD?

Oath for sure. It's end game viable in an eth base.

That's not a very good base. Damage will be bad. War spike is probably the best choice for a low level requirement especially.

Any of the higher level areas will do (check out ATMA's drop calc if you want specifics) but cows are (as always) the best place to run if you've got the char for it. The odds of finding one yourself are pretty slim so if you can trade for one then try that route
