Great, great work. Don't forget to add Vasily, the Ancient of the Druids.
I'm trying to get more info on the mage clans, particularly the seven clan who are referenced in the Sin War trilogy (Of which only 2 are named: the Harakas and the Sarandesh)
But not yet having access to the book of cain makes things rather difficult. (Amazon just got them back in stock so I may get mine soon)
Unfortunately, they don't name the seven clans in Book of Cain, just mention that after the Sin War, the same "big three" became the dominant force in the east (Ammuit, Ennead, and Vizjerei). Cain says that before the Sin War, there were seven major and seven minor mage clans, but he never names any but the usual three.
Your work here is amazing!! Thank you Brokenstorm!! I've read with all my eyes, looked up to dictionary for the words I dont know, You are great thanks a lot!
I'll be reading all the Abd al-Hazir entries this week-end and try to add as much info from them as I can.
It seems all entries were written in chronological order, and since he encounters Cain in New Tristram in entry #16 (that would be in 1284) I think I can get a pretty good estimate on the dates of the events he references.
@Volpula: Thank you for the kind words it really helps boost my motivation.![]()
I am basically trying to get my hands on every piece of true Diablo lore. I just bought the Diablo archive and the book of cain. I know there is still moon of the spider and diablo: the order which is set to be released in may. I also know there is the Sin War Archive. I'm not really interested in any of the comics. Are there any other books I need to pick up or do I just need those 3?
The sin war archive is listed in the Diablo wiki as being released, yet amazon shows it as coming out next year.
I'm not aware of the sin war archive being available. You'll have to buy the three books separately or get the trilogy in ebook format.
And yes if you bought all those 5 books you would have every Diablo novel.
Yes.
