Item Muler/Mover method?

Any way I can move my network characters items around?

I bought a decent crown from Gris to replace my old helm, but I'd like to keep it for a fresh character I'll be starting soon. (rogue more than likely)

If theres a program that can let me drag and drop into other inventories, great.
I'll even settle with being able to "second run" the game and just drop it and other stuff ingame.

There are. I'm not sure if you're allowed to talk about them here. So just google search for a muling program. Search for a certain mercenary that tracked Han Solo in Star Wars.

Recently I've been working on a roundabout, torturous route to host and join IPX/direct Diablo games. Basically the procedure is this:

Create a hard disk image for use in DosBox.
Mount it in DosBox.
Install Windows 95 on that "hard disk."
Make copies of it.
Install Diablo and Spawns on them.

Not easy... but aside from being able to run multiple instances, the result is superior performance and workability for the game in Windows Vista and later.

I have Oracle Virtualbox running Windows 98SE. Couldnt I just use that?

possibly. The real trick is not so much running Diablo, but getting two instances of it to see each other through IPX.
