Hey guys,
I've been working my way through the item pages adding in code to embed their mouse over details. I'm happy to work my way through all of those alone (more than 1 person we'd probably trip over each other) but it would be good to get some activity elsewhere. I've listed below a few pages I came across last night that could definitely do with a going over.
These are all single pages so they are finite projects, you'll not be opening a can of worms with categories etc so they're easier to manage. Bit sized projects
Crafting - There's new UI images and images of the 3 artisans could do with being added. A read over of the text too to ensure it's still accurate. It's not been touched since 27 Aug so I'm betting there are bits that need refreshing.
Randomization - This hasn't been updated since it was created but now we have some actual examples of the randomization in D3, what is and to what extent and what isn't randomised.
Diablo 3 Basics - This definitely needs a read over to make sure it's current. It's the one I send newbies to (it's my signature too).
Diablo 3 FAQ - This is the official one which should have been updated by Blizzard by now so our copy of it needs updating. The old 2009 one needs archiving just like the 2008 one was which you can see linked at the top of that page.
Any of the existing updaters or new people looking to get involved in DiabloWiki.Net but not sure where to start, something in the above list may stoke your fires.
Any queries feel free to post them here or PM if you'd rather.
Cheers

Got the faq page. Could use a few redirects.
Can you put them in what you need or is #redirect code an admin only thing?

I can do redirects. I just don't have the time at the moment; leaving that as a note for myself.
I see we had the same idea on the butcher page today, which should be good for now (unless we wanted to do a "history" section on him from previous games).
Edit: Got Rakanoth (and Ghom).

From the last update it seems part of theCombat page is out of date, specifically "it still references spell damage as a stat and +x% spell damage as a item modifier as well as skill points." I'll admit I only read the big chunk that Azzure added last night on that because I was doing the actual wiki watch news item at the time. So that page needs a once over
Leah is also very much out of date still.

I had leah on the list unless someone else gets to it. I finished up the random page, forgot to post that here.
I was going to use some of the posts from my dodge thread that explained the math of it, but once the thread was moved, the posts were gone? Can you access those in a hidden archive from somewhere? I'd just need the quote/username of the poster. :(
I also want to finish the walkthroughs for the other two beta quests soon-ish but i have meetings all day today. :(
