Questions about the CE.

I just decided that I'll be spending the extra bucks and go ahead with the CE of D3. I was just wondering, for any of you who bought SC2 or WoW CE, can you buy it directly from battle.net store?

My main issue is that I've been buying digital copies of blizzard titles, mainly to get access on day 1 since we don't have midnight launch around here and CE are pretty rare in shops. I dont trust shipping to arrive on day 1 also.

If I do buy the CE edition from the blizzard store, will I have to wait to receive the shipment to add-in the key to my b.net account, or will I have access to it right away on day 1 and then receive the shipment at a later date?

Basically, I want to be able to download the game on release date, and get the non-in game stuff whenever after via post.

The Blizzard store has never stocked collectors editions in the past, doubt they'll change that for D3.

I'd imagine you can buy the CE digitally since you can use the wow annual pass $60 towards a CE, but perhaps not. If you can, you'd probably get the access right away and the goodies would be mailed soon after.

I'm going to pre-order the CE at a local online-shop who's well known for sending AAA games 1-3 days before release.

I won't be able to play, but I'll be able to look at the skull ^^

Doesn't quite work like that. If you register the CE to your account with a WoW annual subscription it will credit you 4 months of game time. The CE will not be offered digitally.

Can you please tell us what is the name of this shop?

The last time I pre-ordered something (from EBGames), I was extremely disappointed. Game didn't ship on time, huge shipping fees (since i'm in Quebec), didn't receive the bonus in game items as expected, etc.

Now I think I'll just try and find a Collector's Ed when stores open, I was thinking to try it at Wal-Mart since they always have everything. If I don't get a copy on day 1 i'd be ready to to up to 400$ for it but I could probably get it for like 200$ since the ridiculous price of 99$ lolz.
