Well i only played 14 times so far and just recently won a beta key so cant say much but the difficulty sure has increased which is a good thing. The changes to the order of skills and such make it more interesting then before. Demon hunter still can get struck at wierd places when using evasive fire or vault. Still that is probably something that will be fixed soon enough if it has not already been fixed in internal builds.
The red outline is brief enough when you do play to almost not be there at all. Its a very big difference between looking at videos and play yourself. Just watching videos i saw it all the time. playing myself i hardly noticed.
I haven't played the monk much before the patch, and don't know what wasn't working, but in patch 5 it's my experience that fists of thunder knockbacks the target and everything next to it by a (very) short distance.
