Bottom line (you can ignore the rest of this post): How much does Diablo 3 cost?
Let me start by saying I am not a huge gamer. My newest console is a Super NES, and the only games I've payed for in the last ten years are Diablo 2, Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction, and Counter-Strike: Source. That said, I really like the Diablo series and have spent countless hours playing Diablo 2 and its expansion.
I do not know the price of video games, and have been prepared to pay about $70 for Diablo 3. I came up with that number by thinking about the $60 games I bought back in the 1990's, such as Super Mario World and Mortal Kombat. However, I was looking through PC World magazine, and the latest issue has a list of the top 20 PC games out right now, and most of the prices ranged from $20 to $40.
Will Diablo 3 fall in that price range? It would be awesome if it did, but that's about half the price I have been expecting.
Ya you may wanna try torchlight 2 or path of exile if cost is an issue, the game isnt docking its price for the real money auction house or any other fees.
As for the CE, I'm guessing it to be 99.99$ just like Batman's CE, but it could be anywhere from 80$ (unlikely) to 150$ (like Skyrim's CE, but unlikely also).
