Denmark was rated happiest place to live on the planet recently.
Still pretty impressive. The good ole US of A was 11th.
That really isn't that surprising. I wonder what the rankings were 5 or 10 years ago.

I dunno, kinda doubt it. I think we would be higher before the economic downfall.
Which economic downfall? We had another one in the 80s too and of course there was the internet boom then bust in the 90s. The 70s was pretty bad for jobs and super high interest rates. Maybe the 50s we were tops but then again we had McCarthyism and rampant discrimination so I guess it would depend on which side of the line you were born. We are not a bad place to live and being 11th in the world is still pretty damn good but I am not sure we ever were ahead of countries like Norway, Denmark, Sweden etc.
you may be right there, some of those european countries would be tough to beat.
I was thinking like the late eighty's and ninety's maybe.
