I just saw that they are bringing episode 1 to the theatre in 3D. This sort of.....irritates the crap out of me.
What should irritate you more is that this and each subsequent movie will need to be successful for them to bring the next one out in 3D. So if there is any hope of seeing Empire again on the big screen the prequels will have to make money.

I don't imagine that they will release 4-6 in 3D no matter what. I just don't think being as old as they are that they can alter them, but I could be wrong. I don't plan on going to see any of them on the big screen. It would be cool, but I hate 3D movies, so I don't see it happening.
