Don't worry, by the time you log on again Blizzard might've done that for you already.

Reason: As clearly stated in the EULA it is forbidden to acquire and equip any self-found upgrades to any of your level 60 character's item slots. Failure to comply will result in immediate rollback to a random point in the history of said character.

Good thing I've found a loophole to this, and have only acquired self-found items and equipped them on all 4 characters. :P
