He might. You Can get a app which logs you in on you computer, and lets you remote control it. Don't know if that's enough though. There must be some system requirements, which he wont meet on his phone though.

I still don't understand tablets, but if you are going to buy one atleast get a good one that has a USB port and doesn't need to use the POS software that is Itunes.
