podcast #45 on transaction fees

at 49:45 "When you list right now there's no fee, and when your item sells there's a 15% transaction fee when it's delivered to you."

I hope this system changes, because as it stands there is opportunity for everyone and their dog to post items for ridiculous prices, just to see if they can get a bite.

Ideally the system should charge a percentage up front, so that it discourages people from throwing crazy prices around and spamming the auction house with pages of small stacks to bore people into thinking that's a common price.

Thoughts?

What you describe (paying fees up front) is how I think it should be...

I think that's how WoW does it....
