pvp ES orb sorc

i am at collecting stuff for my max es orb sorc and i have a question.

prebuff es at town then put cta in the 2. slot?

my orbs make 1370 damage at the monent.. what should be the goal here?

and .. do i have to max cold mastery?
i still have problems reaching max es when i skill it .. i am lvl 87 and i miss about 13 skillpoints :/

maxed: frostbolt, mastery, orb, telekinese, es = 100 + other skills (warmth, teleport ect .. ~12 points.. sure i must prebuff es that i dont have to put 20 points in ..
are 20 points in telekinese neccesary?

Never go max block with spirit. Like you said, it takes an enormous amount of dex and even once you've maxed block, you're stuck with a horribly slow blocking animation.

The other parts I really can't speak to; I don't have enough experience on the subject.

is an es sorc also viable with +30 es?

Dont max mastery and there you go!

In actuality you don't need 20 in ES
Helm = +2
Belt = +1
Ammy = +2
Rings = +2
Torch = +3
Anni = +1
Memory = +9
CTA Buff = +1
Thats +21 right there,saves you a whole point!

Here's my equips:
Helm - Nightwings = +2 Skills,+Cold damage,not much more you can get
Ammy - 2 - 10 fcr = Even a 5 Fcr ammy could work to achieve 63 FCR
Weapon - Dfathom = Massive damage...yea...
Armor - +3 Warmth ormus = Saves a skill point for warmth,adds much needed FCR and Cold damage.
Shield - Whistans = Upd Visceratuant adds more damage but Whistans is a cheap alternative for max block.
Rings - 2x Soj = Adds mass mana +2 skills
Gloves - Frostburn = Adds mass mana
Boots - ETreks = I use these for the mass poison resist and 30 stats dont hurt either.
On Switch
CTA + Rhyme shield
In stash
7ES/3CA memory
+3 ES Ormus
Max block,maxes out at 1612 orb damage.

i dont play max block cause of the spirit .. but
i also have 75 poison resi .. anyway .. 1 poisonnova and i have 1 hp oO

but es > cold mastery?

personally i'd use a perfect viper instead of ormus, or at least get an es ormus then (yeah i know, expensive). p.viper has 13 mdr which is nice for es sorc.
as for cold mastery, about-180 res should be barely enough. -200 at most (against trang glove users). facets included. which means you should aim for ~ lvl 30 cm.
let me tell you extreme amounts of cm won't accomplish much, because you have a wrong char to work sorbers. put extras into blizz or ice blast. my 95 es/orb sosie has like 1,5k orb, 4,5k blast and 6k blizz.

i dont have a cta right now but my biggest probs in duells was, that i got poisined and died after the 2. hit cause my life was about 0 (especially nova necros)
when do u use blast instead of orb?
