    Kill counter contribution

For my intro I'll also do a contribution to my favourite sub-forum. I am a SP player since I hate restarting each ladder. I like to count stuff and make averages. Here a little software I did to count how many time you kill something. It has the average time it takes you to do it. I know some other counter were already done but didn't found it.

The main use is to time how long it takes to do a task on average and find out what's the best way to do it. For instance I found out killing Mephisto in the red portal path takes me 10 more second per run than killing him in the stairs with my blizzard sorc.

It also gives a lot of motivation and you're competing against your average time since you see your last run time (first run isn't counted).

Of course you have to play in windowed mode. Download it and then to run it type that command "java -jar Counter.jar" in your terminal (start/execute/cmd for windows users). Make sure you have Java installed.

    Download link : DiabloStat.zip

You think beat my Mephisto average kill time ? :P

    Re: Kill counter contribution

It's good to see members specifically wanting to contribute to statistics, but the download link to programs like this really does belong to the diablo files forum.

I'd suggest to upload it there and then change your link towards that, otherwise I'd feel inclined to move this thread to that forum altogether.

I tried to add it with the standard method but using linux seems to bug the upload. It says error while uploading and stop. Being lazy I would have used the standard one since it's less trouble than using a third party.
