like the sorc was in D2?
No. Barbarian has actual MF skills.
(answer is unknown because given that casters are now weapon damage based just like melee, it is entirely balance dependent).
What mf skills are u talking about?
I was just trying to figure out which character would be best to start off with to farm items for all my others.
Barbarian: Has a lot of rune effects that force monsters to drop extra items.
Wizard: Depending on how the Wormhole rune effect works for Teleport, the Wizard might be able to quickly move from mob to mob, making it the class which is capable of clearing a dungeon the fastest.
Not sure about the other classes, but I think the final product will be balanced not only in DPS but hopefully in magic find potential as well. Maybe not via skills, but the Witch Doctor for example might have an advantage when running bosses and dungeons because he has minions to keep him safe, causing him to die and return to the check point less frequently, which cuts total time spent clearing a dungeon...Demon hunter might have the crowd control, AOE, and evasion skills that give it a balance between killing speed and survivability...yadda yadda yadda. We won't know for sure until the game is out, but yeah based on what we know now, the Barbarian definitely has a lot of cool runestone effects that aid MF.
Oh. That's kind of good, actually. Seemed like a gimmick that people would be sort of roped into using to collect gear. So now it sort of depends on whether the Wiz can spam Teleport, and just how bad boss drops really are. If you can only trigger Wormhole once then I'd say all the classes will have their own strengths and weaknesses when MFing and there won't really be one that stands out above the others.
Huh? I still see them:
