Re: Repost, about Paypal and D3

I believe that the money you get comes from blizzard and not from the buyer of your items. The transaction that removes your item and gives you credit should be atomic and the credit comes from the buying party's blizzard account, not from their credit card. Blizzard shouldn't allow them to cancel their purchase after it has been set in motion, so you should never end up with a sold item and no payment. Paypal has no part in the system until you decide to cash out, at which point blizzard is responsible for payment, and they are not paying you for the sale of an intangible or digital product; rather, they are giving you the monetary value of your store credit, much like if you cashed out your store credit at a retail shop.

Yes, I was expecting it to work like this. But is that confirmed?

Paypal's not going to be charging fees higher than the money you deposit. I mean, sure, it has some dodgy business practices and I would argue that it's not particularly the safest place to put your money, but the fees would be the least of my concerns.
