Re: The Really Big Barb thread

Just wanna say nice thread and thanks for all the work Kastigar!
Dunno if this has been asked yet but, how big is your Fury ball? (that sounded funny in my head)

Re: The Really Big Barb thread

Happy to provide the info Doppel

My Fury ball (lawl) is 103. It defaults at 100, and I've only found a single item that boosts it. But I imagine that we will be able to boost the capacity of it substantially as gear gets better.

I think thats a really good mechanic to make Fury "stick" at max Fury for atleast a few moments.

Re: The Really Big Barb thread

Might be a stupid question (and sort of pertains to all classes), but do all weapons have the same range? Or do polearms, etc., have a longer range than a short sword or dagger, as it was in Diablo 2 if I remember correctly? And if so, do skills like cleave take this into account?

Re: The Really Big Barb thread

It's tough to say with range. I have noticed much difference at all with the weapons I've been able to find or make.

Because enemies are always moving, and because your character automatically closes the distance if he's out of range, it becomes hard to measure. There are stationary objects, but since they all are destroyed in one hit, you cant measure distance at the same angle over and over. So range, at least how it operates in melee is a pain to judge.

Use shift to measure weapon range from a stationary object. Won't give you exact distance, but should give you information whenever there is a difference.

Good idea as I hadn't thought of that. I'll at least be able to see some weapon ranges with it.

Re: The Really Big Barb thread

I watched a stream where the player said he used shift a lot to stop precisely and swing with his barb especially on barrels.

In his playthrough, he was using a two handed tree bark (club) as a weapon but managed to craft a higher dps two handed Axe later on. Switching to axe, he mentioned that the tree bark had more range but lower damage. So i guess the answer is yes, there is a range to weapon.

Weapon Throw - can it be just ANY weapon or it has to be THROWING weapon? I wonder if you can toss like a 2h with it?
