I have 2x AMD 6950 with unlocked shaders @ stock speeds
Core i7 2600K @ 4.2 GHz
12 GB RAM
Win 7 64
Intel 510 series SSD
Will I be able to run everything on highest settings and still get good frame rates?
Also, what is the max resolution? I have a 2560x1600 monitor
First you don't need to post the same thing in 2 different threads.
To answer your question, the 2560x1600 resolution of your U3011 monitor will work in D3 and you should be able to run it a max settings at more than 40fps. I also bought the U3011 and I have a 5970, I'm pretty sure it'll work pretty well too.
Edit:
In a completely unrelated note, the NZXT Tempest 210 case is out : http://www.nzxt.com/new/products/cra...es/tempest_210
Seems like a very good option if you want a nice black case + white fans design + USB3 at a very decent price.
I'd love to know how well D3 would run on my machine, now I'm not a computer wiz so please inform me if theres some information missing ^_^
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit
CPU: Intel 2xCore 6600 @2.40 Ghz
Memory: 4GB Ram
Graphics Card: ATI Radeon HD 4770
Monitor: HP 2309v
Audio: Realtek HD Audio
It's quite new (probably less than a year old) so theres loads of space and no clutter
Thanks!
I just used my 3 monitor 3d surround at 8800x1600, and it worked charmly perfect, with constant 60.1 fps everything maxed as high as possible, the game graphic optimization's like medium on star craft 2 so most will be damn fine with average rig. 1 monitor at 2500x1600 is also superbly playable at 60 fps as well, no dip no lag no slow downs and no fps drop.
Also the beta has no AA options,so i forced 16xQ through nvidia control panel and popped ON ambient occlusion and 16x Anisotropic with max quality rendering, resulting a way better game.
