$60 is alot of money to spend on a game. I want to be sure I can run it decent. Here are my specs:
Windows Vista 32bit Home Premium Service Pack 2
AMD Athlon x2 265 (dual core @3.3ghz)
Nvidia GTS 250 1gb gddr3 (675MHz core clock, 256bit, 128 processor cores, 1620 MHz processor clock)
Kingston HyperX 4gb RAM (ddr2 800MHz)
Wester Digital 500gb HDD (Blue Caviar edition, 7200rpm)
ECS A780GM-A v1.1 Motherboard
@phaide: My GF has a very similar system (Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 3.0GHz, GTS 250, 4GB RAM), and it ran the beta fine at high settings, 1920x1200 resolution. Mostly 60 FPS with occasional drops down to ~30-40 when much is going on. At medium settings it never dropped below 60 FPS.
Will the new Asus laptops run this?
Looking for advice on a possible laptop that can play d3 [ if possible even?] mines 4 years old and couldn't play the beta
If i do buy a new lap top i dont want a ultra expensive one or graphics card and will be happy with running the game on mid/low settings.
PS i know nothing of graphics cards, except it may? need a upgraded power supply?
[ usa based]
Current laptop
intel dual core Pentium 2.16 GZ
2 GB ram

Is it possible to upgrade the graphics card on this or easier just to buy a new laptop?
