I downloaded and installed it normally, but I only get a black screen with cursor and music when trying to start the game =(

Well you got further than me! I still cant even install it! I click install and nothing happens. lol.

Well, now the lauch installer is working fine, but it's taking an eternity to download the setup... what gives?

I like how the Beta Client updates when there is an update, even if you aren't a beta tester. Love it :P Its like I'm participating!

That just means your account isn't in the beta, it gets rejected by the server.

Okay, uhh i have no blizzard games linked to my battle.net account does that have anything to do with it?? I used to have diablo 2 but i have no clue where the CD is

It is not open to everyone yet. Only to people that are invited which is mostly friends and families of blizzard employees.

i checked the launcher this morning before going to work - just feel part of the collective....so reassuring

I have a problem installing the beta client. When i do it it pops up this info:


and it poins to this

"An error occurred while writing to your hard drive. Please make sure your hard drive is not full and try again."

And all my HDD partitions are 20+GB free
