In no particular order, either:
- we're to expect lots of levels in the expansion in 3 years
- Blizzard programmers are trolling us
- "levels" past 60 are just identifiers for Hardcore levels
- these "levels" are actually an internal indicator of game progression meaning that "levels" past 60 are completions of areas in Inferno.

Or it could be from way back when there was 100 levels or something before they announced it or decided to reduce it to 60.

hehe, that is true. There is already something strange in it the lvl_max var has no value so it could be set when you hit lvl 60 in the classic D3 since that is the max level. Or maybe it is set when you finish all the acts...

I don't see how you could be an Avenger in PvP...? Matri/Patri are also classic D2 PvE titles. But idk.
