hey i had a idea basically because i want to play diablo 3, even if its only to leoric and i like many of you have been waiting for 3 years now.
so i got a idea lets say "bob" gets a beta invite and "john" is a active member like me who just wants to try the game out. would you, if you were "bob" be willing to meet at a public place and let "john" play your beta for a hour?![]()
Account sharing is a bannable offense.
You would have to share your entire battle.net account. This would be highly unadvisable. Although the thought is generous, I would not suggest this to anyone under any circumstance whatsoever.
In any event, even if I did share my info, I have an authenticator so that would be kind of funny. Not that I'm going to get in or anything.
As a wiki contributor, I fully expect Elly to just hand you a key.
i think bacily what i ment was would you meet up with someone at a internet cafe and be willing to sit there for a hour and then let them play your game. you log on for them. so you dont give anyone your password
I haven't earned any special treatment.
MrFrye, if anyone. The insane amount of work he does on the skill/passive sections puts me to shame by magnitudes. I also have a crappy connection and wouldn't be able to keep up with media uploading like the other wiki folks.
I like creating fresh pages, like the Auction House page, or Bastion's Keep. Those, those I dig.
But due to Blizzard's ball-dropping, I wouldn't count on this site getting keys. I have zero info to share on that, I know nothing about how that works. I haven't even worked in the fansite program since WC3.
That would be...interesting.
I'm super paranoid, though, and I live in the middle of nowhere (although probably pretty close to Xanth). That probably wouldn't work out well.
Logging on your b.net account in internet cafe ? If you don't have authenticator and do that I would call you an idiot who want to loose account.
yeah i understand the whole loosing your account factor. witch would not be very cool.
i guess i just really want to play the game, as i have not been to blizzcon or any other events. and i dont think ill get a beta key.
Make lots of friends near your house and hope one of you gets it.![]()
If a friend came over and wanted to play the D3 beta of course I would let them play it. Otherwise if some random at some cafe or coffee shop saw me playing on my laptop and wanted a go I am pretty sure I would say no.
