Optimistic interpretation: He could have said, "When we send invites...", implying in the future. His phrasing sounds like the "sending" is close.

Or, I think I'm getting a little crazy from beta being so close : /

I think we'll all a little nutty with anticipation. At least I am. Honestly though, until I see an Official Diablo tweet, DIII forum announcement or the front page news on this site, the beta hasn't started!

There's a special room in hell for anyone who gets and invite to the beta and isn't interested in it, where they will have to play a buggy alpha version for the rest of eternity. Repent now.

I'm going pretty crazy over it as well. What I'd like to know, is why the fudge we haven't been given an exact release date yet. It's officially September, if Beta is due within the next 29 days, is there really THAT much to be done still that Blizz can't commit to a date? If there's still so much estimating that needs to be done that we can't even get a specific date by now, then how will it even be ready by the end of this month?

I don't understand why it just has to be sprung on everyone, which I have a feeling it will be. "This just in, invites are going out now! Enjoy the Beta" - Blizzard.

How many of you actually believe that Blizz has a good reason for holding out at the moment? I can understand them not wanting to commit to a date they can't meet, but we're mere weeks away now and they haven't said a word. Double you tee ef
