Trading question: which runes to cube, how to sell the others etc. o

Hello people!

Me and some friends recently started playing again and after getting some 3 characters to hell all mules are getting full of runes, pgems and jewels.
The problem now is that I don't know what the best way is to convert all this into better items (e.g. mid - high runes)


Now my question is these:
*What runes should I keep (read: sell) and which should I cube?
*How should I sell these? (Is crafting packs the best? and if so, do all packs sell good?)
*Also for jewels; sell on their own, or sell as packs?
((I play European soft-core ladder.))

Any help, insight and hints would be very appreciated.

You want to keep all your rals, and to a lesser extent orts and amns. Perfect amethysts are worth about four times more than other gems with the exception of prubies, which are worth about twice what the others are. keep all the jewels you find except bad rare ones.
Crafting packs sell REALLY well. 40 pgems will go for an ist, but I've gotten ber for 40 pameths, and similar values for 40 rals.

Note:
A rare jewel works just as good for crafting as a magical or even unique jewel. So you shouldn't throw them away either.

Keep Tal and beyond plus Nef, except Shael, but keep two of each of the others for your own runewords.

Upgrade Dol, Io, Lum, Fal. Leave the other runes as they are.

Sell Tal+Thul+Ort+Amn+Hel packs (for the Spirit runeword and unsocketing crap results). Nef, Ral, Sol are sold in bulk, for crafting.

Pgems are sold in bulk as well. Collect skulls, rubies and amethysts separately, they sell for more than the others, in particular amethysts. Optionally you can keep crap jewels, they are needed for crafting as well.

Seeing how mule after mule was getting full, and I had no idea what to do with all the stuff, this input is really golden.
