Diablo 1 on Playstation 3

Does Diablo 1 work on PlayStation 3? Ive searched the forums and Google along with Wikipedia but I can't find out if they work together.

yes it does, providing its a ps1 game and not pc

I've bought it and it's working great but saving is a pain. It gives you Three different options to save and load different things, Game, Character, Settings. When I first got it I was so glad it worked I leveled up to 18 in one game. I saved my "Character", thinking that it would actually save my character but I ended up dieing soon after. When I tried to load it gave my no option to load my character on any menus or in game.

It however still listed my "character" when I went to save another character, this one also having no options to load it what so ever after it was saved. After that I tried a third character, but this time I saved "The game". I was given the option this time to load the game I saved, It had the character I was playing and at the exact point I was at in the game when I saved it. But everything was dead with what seemed like no hope for it to re-spawn.

If anybody has any experience with this save system on the PlayStation version please explain it for me, I've read the manual about 4 times and wasted well in excess of 30+ Hours of game play with nothing to show for it.

Always save game and character. The reason why they are separate is so that you can start a new game and continue your character where you left off. Only a new game will make enemies respawn.
