Question about trading with Auction House

Hello everyone,

I would like to know if we are going to be able to trade an item for an other item ?

Exemple : I'm trading Windforce in the auction house for grandfather. Is that possible ? if not ... are we trading for in-game money? If so ... is it similar of WoW with silver, bronze and gold for their in-game money? '' Im not talking about the Real money auction house '' but the other one.

No, you sell the item there for gold, then buy what you want with the gold you get; if you want to do straight up trades, you'll need to hawk in chat channels or forums.

That's when this forum comes into place

I'm not so sure how will the game be like, but trading will be quite different from D2, since gold will be the main currency in D3.

But then again, there are always the exceptions...
