if you play a necromancer and you have a merc with infinity aura. You use Lower Resist.
Does both of this stack to remove immunity from a monster?

Suppose the monster has 21% Fire Resist. Does Lower Resist + Infinity break it?

Only monsters with 100 and more resists are immune, 21% is plain resistance and can be brought down to -100 with stacked lower resists and infinity.

Lower resist and conviction stack with respect to breaking immunes, at a reduced effictivity of 1/5. AFAIK, that reduction is even made if just one of the two is needed to remove the immunity.

If immunity is broken, other sources of -res come into play at full strength, like from facets or, Tal's set or cold mastery.
