The Starcraft 2 single player can hardly be considered a full or proper game. If they did it so that they'd have three major overhauls of the game for multiplayer balance sake, I can understand. But to have three separate mediocre campaigns, all three combined not being worth the price of admission? Absolute garbage!
Don't know if I'd say that... The SC2 single player campaign definitely had more to it than any of their past RTSs in terms of story telling devices and customization (not to mention better executed cut scenes and cinematics)... Also the fact that Heart of the Swarm's single player is being done in a pretty different way (focused on Kerrigan as a controllable hero with different specializations to choose from etc.) speaks to their efforts even more... People underestimate the time and effort that went into it just because they didn't like how the story turned out... You can't even really judge that either because we don't know where they are going with it all just yet... And personally I'd rather have the campaigns split into 3 games and have the individual campaigns be longer and deeper with more gameplay mechanics as they have done than have them cut corners and mash them all together just to satisfy the ragers that want the whole storyline in one game even though I doubt they really care about the lore anyway...
Let's say I disagree.. It was one of the best RTS single player experience since.. I don't know.. since Warcraft 3 probably. I wouldn't call it garbage. I understand some people don't like whole single player experience in SC2 ... but name one modern strategy with better single player campaign...
Would some one mind telling me how we got from "No more being limited to 7 skills" to "OMG Skills scale with level now and no skill points!"
Im all for speculating, but wasn't the original sniped piece of info just "No more 7 skill limit and no more trait points"?
That said; If what every one is saying is true, it would seem that higher level runes would be the only real way to level you skills up. Honestly, I think that spells scaling after you pick them would be pretty good. But for the love of... how did we get there from what was 'leaked'? Spells scaleing with level would be great.. but you would likely still be capped at 7 skills.. which contridicts what was leaked.. so again.. why are we on this track at all?
Really.. my question (AGAIN IF.. and such a BIG IF) if this is true, how are they goign to make each level feel like an "awesome" accomplishment. Jay said at 2010 Blizzcon that they wanted each level to feel like it mattered and was a big reward.. this is a HUGE part of why the level cap is 60.
