Today, I'm playing 4 years diablo2 and also 4 years weredruid! =D, So I decided to make a guide of my Fury druid!
2. putting skillpoints
3. putting statpoints
The PvP fury duduwolf, a class which is in my opinion one of the hardest to play, and I beg you to first play with a fury/rabies hybrid if you didn't play any wolf pvp class! However, in my opinion it's a very fun to play class and very usefull class vs Casters and no shield users, which you'll read later in this guide! Why a pure fury and why not a fury/rabies hybrid? Well, pure fury's have some bonusses which hybrids don't have, like a HUGE AR bonus, and if you go for tombreaver fury you may also get 10-12k HP!!!.
Ofc, you wanna know the important breakpoints!!! ^^ here they are!
These are all the frames in wolfform!
9 8 7 6 5 4 3
0 7 15 27 48 86 200
Wolves have the highest fhr of all!
7 6 5 4 3 2
0 9 20 42 86 280
2. putting the skillpoints.
Well what shall I say here? Just put the skills below!
2 prereqs, which is spending here in total 62 points.
1+: cyclone armor, this can be a very usefull survival kit vs Sorcs or javas, or any other elemental skill user! Put the rest skills here (put 1 in it for first)
1: prereq, which is spending here in total 2+ points
1: summon spirit wolf, These skills are also very usefull! it may help to have more chance to hit users with MAX BLOCK (75%), due they also block the summons.
Oak sage: MAX, THIS IS THE BOMB! huge life BONUS!!! When I shape in werewolfform I may have only 6-7k hp + oak 10k
Heart of wolverine: MAX (MAX OAK SAGE FIRST! Remember this, pure furys got already a huge AR without this oak, and also plenty dmg)
you use here in total 44 points
in total you use 108 points standart
Total skillpoints you can get is, till lvl 99 = 98 skillpoints + 12 of the skillpoint quests(Den/radament/Izual on Norm/NM/Hell). = 110 skillpoints in total!
btw, with this class you don't need a MERC, they only die in PvP... they are only usefull for PvM with this class, but I never played a PvM dudu class yet.. But if you chance mind.... use a might merc or use a Act 2 nightmare merc.
3.Statpoints!!!! (tip, maybe chek equipment sector first!)
Make sure, You have put the most points in vit!!! VIT IS MOST IMPORTANT (RAWR!)
Str: put points for eq...
Dex: put points here for eq and MaxBlock (if you gonna use grief/storm, botd/storm put so many till your block reaches 75%!!)
Vit: PUT ALL REST POINTS HEEEREEE!!! z9
Mana: if you even put one point here... RESET or DELETE, OMG, I mean, you're a wolf, you hump others, WHY THE HELL YOU WOULD NEED MANA z(. none here!
This equipment I use atm, the (*) means that could be very usefull to
JALALS MANE, lol it owns.... if you ask why, lol soz...
(*) You could also use COA for the DR! I prefer you stash if you got, it's really handy vs some classes.
(*) Rare dudu pelt with fury adds and FHR.
Armor: enigma BP, I use bp because it's only 30 str req, then you can put more in vit! Also eni gives me huge FRW bonus (45%) which is very usefull vs different classes.
(*) Forti, A good choice, I would choose this one if you use botd/storm, grief/storm with it, you got a nice dmg add and you got some more defence with DR from stormshield.
(*) Treachery, you may stash this, if you activate that aura you may get high resis... but anyways... You gotta recast it over and over again if you die....
Weapon: ETH tombreaver zod/shael/shael = 100 ias, BUT you should use 2x 15/40 jewels/zod if you're rich enough , and you get a pretty huge bonus in wolfform! TIP!!! you get in wolfform only ias from WEAPONS!!!
(*) Grief/storm, using Grief is also BM, make sure to get a 32% ias or higher one.
(*) ETH botd/storm, very nice in pvp, nice dmg and Ofc you got mb and
(*) EBOTDz, very sexy in pvp, HUUUGE dmg, if you wear forty with it, BOOM dmg.
Weapon SWITCH: Cta with Spirit/sigon/or any other skill add shield
Gloves: bloodfist, you need the additional 30% FHR, and it gives life =) how awesome is that.
(*) draculs (BM)
(*) rare crafted str/dex gloves (IAS CAN't BE USED ON WOLF)
Belt: dungo, you will need a dungo with 15% DR!!! especially if you go for tombreaver, also a huge vit bonus with it is nice and 10% FHR add!
(*) Stash abs belts, like TG for things like rand assas or sosos etc.
Boots: I use eth sands, because they give vit bonus to and ofc FHR, but if you got already 87% fhr or higher you can go for other boots to like gores, they also give 10% more frw which is very usefull as wolf.
(*) Rare tri resi boots, these are very handy, wolves don't have very much resi so this option may even be better
Rings: I use double angelics, when I use angelic amulet with it, you get a HUGE AR bonus and a life add.
(*) You could also use 2x ravenfrosts, make sure they're 20 dex, I will choose this if you go for MB, then after you can put more in Life, you can also use raven/angelic-ring/angelic-amu
(*) light abs ring
(*) fire abs ring
Amulet: angelic amulet, like I said above.
(*) *3 dudu skills / 100 life amulet
(*) Rare crafted amulet with life bonus
(*) highlords amulet.
(*) absorb amulet for fire sorcs
small charms: 10x 20, life Scs, if you're VERY RICH you should use 10x 3/20/20's, perms are hell espencieve.... so you better got for regular 20 Life scs first
skillers: 9x Life shape sks, ofc life to get finally a huge life bonus in wolfform, you may also use FRW sks.
Left importants: ofcourse Dudu Torch and Anni, ofcourse best you can get, zxD)
I PREFER THIS INVENTORY
fill your inventory with only frw/L scs, It's AWESOME!
ofc torch, anni, also if you think your dmg is lacking just get inventory with 3x-4x Life shape SKS
there are not many tricks I know for this build!
1* AUTOAIM: The Fury skill is sexy for pvp because it's autoaiming if you using it, just stay at one point and activate it!... if a Hdin or someone teles in you, Autoaim = Autowin.
2* Formsurvival: This is what it makes so easy to beat FoHs, if you're almost death, you will go first out of your wolfform, but! you got still 1 hp left and you're still alive, so you just go in wolfform again, you just repeat this till you got him!
3* Walk with mb: if you walk with stormshield also mb, you may have a better chance to block!
TIP!: Use tombreaver always vs casters! They got a longer range and are more effective vs them!
*I got different ratings for each class in pvp, these ratings tell you which are easier to beat and which ones are very hard to beatheya, 1 is easiest and 5 is hardest!
*WW shield users (2-3): these might be a lttl tricky, use here ofc your Storm with grief or eth botd and try to hit them when they stop ww.
*BM Barbs 2 weapon users (1-2) with shield (3): both of these you just use again storm/grief or Eth botd, VS 2 weapon user barbs is also ETH tombreaver or EBOTDz very usefull! but be carefull.... make sure you stack more dr then, because you wont block or dodge anything
*Singers (2): I had one and full eq, I think these will not be a problem, they're more pvm than pvp, they just stun and stun... if you got a lot of FHR, just kick their ***, or stay at a spot and autoaim till he teles in you.... tombreaver got a wider range, so I will use that one.
*Wolfbarb (4-5): Be carefull... they are evil for you.... they can stack up to 12k hp and a lot of defence, also they got MB and grief, use grief/storm vs them, You can't also run from them cuz they're the fastest class... only 1 option, strike right ahead and GL! You're pro if you can handle a GZ wolfbarb with a fury dudu. :3
*CS Java's (4-5): yep, they got huge light dmg! that's why you got the cyclone armor, make sure you hit always first, then it's most of the time win, so just walk out of their screen sight... except they namelock you ofc,.... but then strike if you got them first in sight! also don't forget that wolves have the lowest resi of most classes... so these are evil :O
*poison java's (2-3): dodge their poison javelins and strike at the good moment, cyclone armor is useless vs poison, they also run fast, so eni and gores are handy with this.
*Bowazons (4-5): you may kill them in 1 hit, but I'll say GOOD LUCK! pick storm/grief or ETH botd again, they run fast, especially with harmony switch and they shoot fast AND KB, also try to hide behind things and try to strike if they come to close, hiding srsly works with bowazons .
*WW assas (2-3): Just tread them like a Max block user barb, use grief/storm or ETH botd here due they got clawblock, if they use ww you can't hit them! you can only hit them if they don't use it! so autoaim is useless here!.
*Kickers (1-2): easy.... just autoaim and slap.... nothing more to say.
*Trappers / hybrids (5): Hard, they tele, stun, and do light dmg and do even WW's, I never challence them because you just got almost no chance vs a good trapper, but if you challence them, just treat them like bowazons, like hiding behind things again if they use ww you can't hit them! you can only hit them if they don't use it! so autoaim is useless here! and just use a lot of light resi here... 1 wisp ring (it's so far I know gm to have 1 abs ring).
*Smiters (5): These are the most hardest class you may fight, because of their smite, it's just impossible to hit them. Just run away till they use charge, then attack, autoaim is pwnzor so don't namelock....
*FoHs (1-2): belive me, this is funny! If they foh you, you might go out of werewolfform if you got low life, then you just go in werewolfform again, finally the FoHer gets bored or runs out of mana, this one is easy for ya, but beware if they use a dmg aura, then walk away first and form again, because you may get killed of the aura.
*Hammerdins (1-2): Belive me, this may sound weird but.... this is maybe the easiest class for you to beat.... Hammerdins teleport in you srsly.... all sdo that..., but you're fury ofc and use autoaim so.... You win around 85-90% battles vs hdins, use here also a 2 handet weapon (tombreaver) z=D)
*Auradins (2-5): Very random, because you got buggers and non buggers, so I'll say be carefull with those, many auradins are using bugs which they turn in a god... And I would say... NK every bugauradin in pvp games, they ruin everything, it's also hard to catch them, they just charge away!
*Chargers (2-3): Grief and storm I recommend here.... because their damage is so SICK you need to block..., and use sands here for more FHR, just use autoaim over here kick their ***.
*Zealers (2-3): here's not much you can do here, you just use ofc stormshield with a good weapon like botd or grief, and make a slap duel xD
*Wind Druids (1-2): They're a little bit harder than hdins due they freeze you and got mobs which your autoaim will aim at. But, just treat them like Hdins, most of them also tele in you, wear also 1 raven here to stop the freeze! they're caster.... And maybe stormshield is usefull, because you can block tornados and its phys dmg.
*Fire Druids (2-3): They're annoying.... Many of them stay in town and cast Fissure, just stay in town, and if they gonna cast again (walking out town), you strike, most of them are soooo bm.... so just wear abs... and bcuz they're caster you just wear abs rings too.... also try to stack resi with hotspurs or tri resi boots if you like.
*Fury Dudu's (2-3): If you go fight other fury druids You should use grief 32% ias+/stormshield and if you use forti it's also very usefull because of the 300% Enchanted Damage, make sure you also strike first here! You may use tombreaver... but you wont block,,, but if you use it make sure you wear things like coa and enigma for the dr.
*Fury/rabies hybrid (3): use enigma here, they rabies you and run away, which you need to run after them (DUH!), because you got a huge life bonus it takes long till you die of their rabies, Use storm/botd or storm/grief here, may be hard tough.... so that's why an inventory frw/life scs is very usefull
*Fireclaw dudu's (bears and wolves) (3): use ofc here again grief/storm or botd/storm, you got cyclone armor to abs their first hits, and belive me, it may make a huge difference between life or death, just attack them immediately and have no mercy. z=D(RAWR!)
*Bone necromancer (4-5): Hard, due they cage you! (bm ones) Just destroy the cages as fast as you can, so use tombreaver here ofc, and just I'll say GL catching them, The easiest way is to run away from them, then they follow you with teleport... then IMMEDIATELY change direction, so you run towards them, they will then tele in you and it will be a freekill for you!
*PSN Nova/summon necromancer (3-4): use tombreaver here, but they give you a frggin low fps.... If they also use summons and cast nova... so.... if this char uses physic dmg skills like bone spear stack DR till 50% (50%) is max in pvp, if he uses poison, you have probably no chance.
'Most sorcs are food zxD)'
Nova Sorcs/Light sorcs (2): Use here tombreaver again, hehe... this will be funny...especially nova sorcs, they MUST tele in you, so just stack resist and wear 1 abs ring.... (so far I know is 1 abs ring GM). The easiest way is to run away from them, then they follow you with teleport... then IMMEDIATELY change direction, so you run towards them, they will then tele in you and it will be a freekill for you!
Fire Sorcs (1-2): I beat those a lot... It's easy, hide behind things or houses, finally they tele in me and BOOM! Win, well... That's about retard sorcs.... but if you fight smart ones you just should stack resi and wear hots.... then chase the **** out of them.! The easiest way is to run away from them, then they follow you with teleport... then IMMEDIATELY change direction, so you run towards them, they will then tele in you and it will be a freekill for you!
Cold Blizz/Orb Sorcs (2-3): a bit harder... they use their annoying blizz/orb all the time and don't come even close to you, if you want to have a chance to kill them, hide in a good corner of any house and kill them if they come in, lol this really works for me! Or you could still abs it.... well... GL with that. lol, but I prefer ofc to wear dual ravens since it's a soso. The easiest way is to run away from them, then they follow you with teleport... then IMMEDIATELY change direction, so you run towards them, they will then tele in you and it will be a freekill for you!
Hydra Sorcs (2-3): Hmm... Well all I can say is kill them as fast as you can... If they spawned already a hydrabunker you won't be able to kill them, the only way you can go through it is using abs, I think it's lame to use abs, but ok to say the truth, Hydra Sorcs are lamest.
Blaze/Firewall Sorcs (4): They are also tricky... Their firewalls and blaze do huge dmg (if they are not rand...), Stack resist and then gl I would say.... they just tele away and spawn firewalls and campfires etc. This is probably the hardest soso for you
Also theres still one point I want you to let you know, Using tombreaver with enigma is more a Fury Vs Caster build, If you use forti and grief/storm or botd/storm or Ebotz it's more a Fury Vs Melee Build, and if you go pure for Eth tombreaver or Ebotdz you may get a HUGE life bonus, around 10-12k hp.
I want also to thank everyone who did read my guide! I hope it was any helpfull!
