I have a feeling the same thing that will keep us from switching weapons in combat will be the same thing keeping us from casting or using town portals in combat. Something like a combat mode similar to WoW.

Not a single person has addressed my contention that the TP change represents a big shift in the whos and hows of the final design stretch on the game. But there's a first time for everything.

WoW is dying. They just handed a free copy of WoW to every subscriber. I think I've gotten 3 different emails in the past couple months offering me 7 free days if I return, on top of the 10 free days of cataclysm that can be experienced by anyone. Two major MMOs are in the works for the end of this year / beginning of the next one. These are legitimate, solid fan base, amazing company produced MMOs, not Aion et all. D3 is Blizzard's primary hope of preventing a big chunk of their fan base from wandering off toward greener pastures while they work on their new IP/MMO. The writing is on the wall. The only question is, can you read it?

"Portal griefing" Drop a portal in front of the dungeon entrance LOL as people head to town, and then leave the game, removing the portal. Works 60% of the time, every time!~
