You don't have to max it, but 1 point is still good to have.
you definitely get 1 point into mind blast for a trapper. it's a great skill.
shadow master is great when you are blind teleporting (like to the throne room), because she will throw mind blasts as you tele, making the trip safer. masters at level 17+ can also be made immune to elements if they prebuff themselves with fade (they don't have a player resistance cap).
dont forget about the other lightning synergy and that is all... max fire bomb last
Just got back into the game and leveled a trapper through hell with no gear
Fire blast is pretty essential if you're planning on soloing hell, plus extra shots on DS is nice for when you're running away from freaking moonlords and dont have to stop and cast is a bajillzion times.
Mind blast is sooooo win.
I hate summons and mercs. I tried to use one cuz all the guides told me too, but in the end I just ended up respecing to max trap damage.
Anyway tho... those were my experiences.
This should help with casting less DS and getting good use out of them.
if u play dual claw u better spend some skills in weapon block 57%-60% its up 2 u how much dmg u willing to lose for it,
and again if u play dc the only big source for dr will be fade try to get it to lvl 30.
In all honesty, trappers shouldn't have to worry about the necessity of block and DR. Good to have some, but it's an after thought at best. The Merc, Shadow, MB, and Cloak will deal with everything else.
You can FB from anywhere and boost your DPS, and converting makes Baal think they're dead sooner...
