Should I stick with NM mf or Hell mf?

Hey guys

A while ago I made a thread of what monsters to mf in NM, however after some 'practice' I can mf hell andy and meph. However it takes a bit longer and is harder than NM andy and meph... Should I stick with hell andy and meph or nm andy and meph? I got around 195 mf :/.

Hell all the way if you can manage it comfortably because of the better drops.

Depends on what are trying to get. At some point, you will have everything nm meph can drop so you will be forced to hell meph and hell baal even.

Actually I wouldnt bother killing hell meph on realms because it WILL take 30mins to find it without maphack indeed (and probably with maphack too if you dont have teleport).

For mephisto simply following the map clockwise from the waypoint results in quickly finding the stairs most of the time. It shouldn't take more then half a minute for most teleporters, and even without teleport and the clockwise knowledge it should not take anywhere near 30 minutes to completely clear durance ... unless your build has severe limitations.


I'd prefer if hacks are not mentioned when there's no need to mention them.

Hm I've done some tests and in fact, clockwise method works pretty well. Please disregard my post about running time.

clockwise and counter-clockwise, isn't it all the same ?
as long as u keep close to wall, no matter in what direction you take, you will eventualy get to entrance.
unless ofc there is a fixed (and known) number of meph maps, and clockwise works on all of them better than ccw.

Yes in the end you'll just teleport around in circles, but usually you reach lvl 3 faster by teleporting clockwise (from your toons perspective).

Silly question but w/o teleport is it worth it to try to farm meph?
