“They were the days eh Farlan?” quizzed Aengus
“Aye good brother, them were the days...Them were the days...” replied Farlan
“Oi! Come here ye pair eh ood blouses!”
“Nae time to be hanging aboot, ald bones or no!” shouted Lyall
“Calm yeself doon old man, wi coming aint we Farlan?” said Aengus
“Aye that’s right Lyall , we’re just coming the noo so keep ya sandals on eh?” mused Farlan

They smiled at each other behind Lyall ’s back.

Talic spun round instantly.
“Argh” he gasped
“Am tellin ya, if we dunnie hurry up the Prime Evils will be dead already. And I fancy me some brutal demon bashing!” roared Lyall

“That ya back gun again Lyall ?” replied Aengus with a smirk

“I’ll ****ing give you a smirk!” said Lyall as he raced slowly towards Aengus


Just a few days later, upon arrival at the Rogue Encampment...

...”We three brothers do swear upon the sacred Bul-Kathos; we will protect the Worldstone Keep, our body, souls and spirits will repel the unworthy. We come forward now as never before, with our sons in our place atop the great Mount. Arreat, we will go forth and destroy the Prime Evils. No man shall pass untested!”

“Nae lass either eh Farlan?” joked Aengus
“Be serious ya pair eh twits! Supposed to set an example tae the boys ya ken?” rebuked Lyall

“Aye wi ken that... Come on let’s go befae Lyall dies of ol’age eh?” replied Farlan

And so the 3 old barbarians of past made their way to the Blood Moor, the fury of the upcoming battle rejuvenating their ages bodies...

I'm interested in playing through the game as the Ancients, if I can find 2 people who're interested? I'd love to play 'Madawc'!

And incase you hadn't worked out, those 3 are our characters, they're Scottish (sorry :P) and the real Ancients are their sons. They were the original guardians. Shhhh... I don't care if it's crap, I had fun writing it

sounds like it could be fun... been awhile since I did a WhirlyBarb, so 'Talic' could be interesting (and a good refresher for/future Trav runner). A few questions though:

HC or SC? Twinked? Single Pass? (any other gameplay related questions I am not thinking of, atm)?

aside from the above, depends on timing & availability... I'm GMT -5, so if your profile location is correct we would have to schedule for a fair bit of a difference in what is typically considered 'prime time'...
